Who am I?
A passionate father, dedicated husband, and disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and now I am one of the first males to become certified as a Pediatric Sleep Consultant.
What have I done?
Both during and after college, I dedicated a lot of time to research, running numerous research projects, as well as having been involved with writing and publishing multiple papers on a variety of topics.
What do I want to do?
I decided to become a certified sleep consultant when I discovered how powerful a proper sleep schedule could affect Oakley, for the better. I want to make sure that, regardless of what parenting style you follow, you are given the same possibilities. I will not judge you and will support you as best I can. As a veteran, I am determined to give back to those who have served and who are now serving by providing services to military and veteran spouses, ensuring that the whole family can obtain a good night’s sleep. I will do my best to get your child, and in turn the whole household, to Sleep Merrel-y.
Meet my wife, Mia. She was passionate about getting our daughter, and us, to sleep better. She introduced me to the idea of sleep training, which ignited my spark.
Meet Oakley Mae. Oakley has more energy than most kids twice her age and heart to go along with it. Her smile can light up a room. She is the reason we discovered sleep training and why Sleep Merrel-y was founded.
Meet the newest member of our team, Shepherd. We are just starting our sleep journey with him, but we will be sure to share updates along the way.
